Why is the truth so hard to tell?

It’s hard to make sense of the ever-changing narratives regarding the virus, the vaccines, and the future. There is no doubt that lockdowns are coming soon to the United States. The fading hope promised in the vaccines is apparently not panning out, and even the vaccinated will have to resume to face masking and other failed restrictive policies of the past year. What can we do moving forward?
