It was 19th-century preacher, Charles H Spurgeon who said, “The time will come that instead of having shepherds leading the sheep, you will have clowns entertaining the goats.” Sadly, Spurgeon’s prediction has become too true, not just in the church, but even in our increasingly evil politics.
