Dr. Bell talks about the enemy continually tried to distract Nehemiah and bring him down off the wall. They tried to distract him by stopping the work of building the wall. The enemy’s job is to distract you and get you to stop the assignment that God gave you. The enemy is coming to stop the spirit of God in you. There are times we are to pray for people and other times we are to pray on people. Test the spirit by the spirit. Discern the spirit of the company that you keep. Make sure you are in the company of Christ and not in the company of the enemy. Treating people like they are more important than God. Doing the roles out of survival and not out of love.
