Breaking the Unwritten Rules

In this short, four-week sermon series, we take a brief glimpse at four narratives from the life of Jesus that broke unwritten, implied cultural and/or religious rules of His society. Those moments in His ministry where He focused His efforts and attention on the right thing to do rather than what was deemed to be acceptable, prudent or traditional. Of course, Jesus’ goal wasn’t to simply be a “rule-breaker” so in this series we plan to highlight His teaching and example on God’s true intention over man’s invention when it came to traditional and propriety in the worship of and commitment to God.
