God is not just the God of the new beginning—he is also the God of the entire pilgrimage of his people. He has done miracles to get them out of Egypt and across the Red Sea. There are 600,00 men, as well as their wives and children, on a journey into the desert. First God provides fresh water. This incident was a testing. Now the people want bread and meat. Would His people give Him total obedience? Will they listen to His voice or not? What do we do when we are tested?
