The Footsteps of Moses
In this series, we will follow the life of Moses. He was known as a friend of God (Ex.11:33). Deut. 34:10 says, “There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.” But Moses was also known as a servant of God. In Joshua 1:2, God tells Joshua, “Moses my servant is dead.” Hebrews 3 describes how Moses faithfully served God. Jesus commented to his disciples in John 15:14, “You are my friends if you do what I command.” Could it be that friendship has responsibility? Could it be that when we seek to be God’s servant that we could accomplish what God has planned for us? As we follow Moses in this series, he can act as a model for us in our relationship with God.
