Theology is never possible without social justice for the poor and the oppressed. Jesus said in one of his profound theological statements that: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord's favor has come"(Luke 4:18-19, NLT). This ministry seeks to liberate the poor and the vulnerable. It seeks to ensure that the Gospel is preach to all four corners of the earth. It seeks inclusivity and in a liberative narrative. Sermons of this servant leader is determined to ensure that the United Methodist Church remains an inclusive and liberating Church. Each week we will bring the Gospel alive and hold discussions that are thought provoking and liberating. Please join us and be a part of the conversation of faith. May the blessing of God be with you for listening and watching our broadcast episodes.
