Psalms of Ascent: Psalm 123 Service One of the most interesting observations we find in the Psalms of Ascent are unique perspectives of our relationship with God. In the 123rd psalm, we’re painted a picture of a servant looking to their master. This perspective may be a reason that many unbelievers hold against having faith in God, as they see it as restrictive, a limiting of options, a submitting of one's self to God’s rule and reign.
