Why the Church is Essential (2 Thessalonians 2)

God has called the church to be the Pillar and Foundation of Truth (1 Timothy 3:15) But the Enemy is working very hard at pressuring the church to depart from the truth of God's Word. This is what 2 Thessalonians refers to as "the secret power of lawlessness" that is currently at work to lead people astray from the truth. The Bible prophecies that there will eventually be a moment in time when the "restainer" (The Holy Spirit filled Church) is taken out of the way (The Rapture) and then there will be a complete "departure" from the truth known as the great Apostasy and then DARKNESS will reign thru the leadership of the "Lawless One" or "Anitchrist".
