What did Jesus say would be the cost of following him? Many who come to Christ try to come to him only as a savior, but they leave out the Lordship of Christ. Christ said to server him, it is more than just saying you believe, you must actually believe that he saved you and that he is now Lord over you. He bought you with a price is what Paul and Peter both said.
