Happy New Year! May the Lord bless you richly with love, hope, peace and joy this year! Let me ask you about the cross: It is made up of 2 pieces of wood. One vertical and one horizontal. In my eyes our reconciliation with God is vertical… it’s our intimate and direct relationship with Him… right? But what about that other piece of wood? Should we ignore it?
