We continue on the theme of last week’s message Our Precious Savior. Gold, sliver and other ornamental stones are called “precious” because they are very valuable. What a person calls precious in their life will tell you a lot about them. What is precious to a person is something of great and lasting value. Like our children, our church, our Bibles, our families and our friends. These things forever. A car, a job, a house may be nice and bless us but we would not call it “precious.” That is reserved for the really valuable and eternal. The Bible tells us that Jesus is precious. That says a lot about Him.
