“In Hebrew, the word meditate is “hagah.” It means “to utter, to devise, to muse,” “to mutter.”
Meditating on God’s word means to:
Read the word,
Recite the word read in your mind until it sticks, and Consider (think on) the word
Declaration Dear Holy Spirit, teach me how to meditate on God’s Word. I don’t want to read Your Word like everyone else. Open my eyes to see what the Word I read and hear mean and how they apply to my life. Cause me to hear You clearly through the Word and empower me to walk in the light of Your Word, in Jesus name. Amen.
