How To Offer Our Prayers Unto God ?

1. PRAYING IN TRUTH

    Psalms 145:18

The Lord is close to all who call on him,   yes, to all who call on him in truth.

2. RIGHTEOUS PRAYER

Proverbs 15:29

The Lord is far from the wicked,   but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

 

3.WISE PRAYER

Ecclesiastes 5:2 -    Do not be quick with your mouth,   do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.

4. SECRET PRAYER

Matthew 6: 5-8 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

 

 5. FAITH PRAYER

Mark 11: 24 ;Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” [26]

Hebrews 11:6 - And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

 James 1:6-8 - But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

 

Romans 12:12 - Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

 

6. PRAYING IN THE WILL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

 Ephesians 6:18 -Pray all the time. Ask God for anything in line with the Holy Spirit’s wishes. Plead with him, reminding him of your needs, and keep praying earnestly for all Christians everywhere.

7. HUMILITY IN PRAYER

James 4:7-8 - So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

 

8. THANKSGIVING PRAYER

Colossians 4:2 -  Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

 

2.Psalms  65 - 1, 2

O God in Zion, we wait before you in silent praise, and thus fulfill our vow. And because you answer prayer, all mankind will come to you with their requests.

 

3. Psalms 99:6 - Moses and Aaron were his priests,

    and Samuel was one who prayed to him;

    they called to the Lord, and he answered them.
