Episode Notes

                                                                                                                                                                          Introduction

1. Faith is more than a reaction. It is a response from and with Gods word.

Luke 8:24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
25
And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

A response is with words that are the substance of truth.

Response is a command force. Winds and water obey.

A command response will bring obedience and results.

} The disciples saying, “Master we perish,” is a reaction to the storm versus a response.

} Jesus on the other hand arose and rebuked the storm. That is a response.

God desires for us to begin responding to circumstances with our faith. When we simply react it is most times a fear based action where response is a faith filled decision.  We must locate our faith.

2. Faith is a constant. Meaning it will always exist and will always have influence.                                                                                          Dictionary: con·stant [kónstənt]

adj

1. Ever present: always present or available

2. Happening or done repeatedly:

3. Not changing or varying:

} This means that every time you are faced with something faith will be available.

} We can add our names to the faith heroes of Hebrews 11 by simply learning that faith is always accessible.

} It can be said of us that faith is always happening with us and around us.

} Become someone who never varies in their faith, never changes from it.

To never vary requires a life of response to things, or circumstances.

1Cr 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.

} Love is the greatest motivator. Faith is the greatest activator. Hope is the greatest stimulator.

Because God is love the laws that govern things are based within love and upon love.

This also aligns us to Christ lifestyle with the Father.

3. Faith holds at least a portion of the answer, to every circumstance.

Hbr 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him

} One of Gods greatest pleasures is for us to use our faith.

} God does not desire to see us draw back in our walk of life but to go all the way through with our dreams and visions.

} God knows that faith will deliver or carry a solution and answer to your problems through His Spirit and word

1Jo 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith

} God has no pleasure in seeing the world overcome us but delights to see us overcome the world.

} God has given us his great faith because he is for us and not against us.          Allow God to bring faith, the faith born of Jesus to come.

Symptoms Of Damaged Faith!                      Our enenmy desires to damage faith because it pleases God!

Pro 13:12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh, [it is] a tree of life.

 Isaiah 27:5

Amplified Bible (AMP)
Or else [if all Israel would escape being burned up together there is but one alternative], let them take hold of My strength and make complete surrender to My protection, that they may make peace with Me! Yes, let them make peace with me!

} Don’t always look to what the world quickly turns to for solutions. Turn to God and his word first!

} Get in the habit of seeing what faith [Gods Word] has to offer as a solution first.

} Isaiah could be seen as a salvation scripture!
