Holy Spirit……. These words bring confusion to many believers. Confusion exists because the multitudes of different teachings about the Holy Spirit have caused division in churches, denominations, and even seminaries for far too long. There are too many competing voices, all claiming to be true. Friends, God does not wish for any of us to be confused! Last week, we determined to throw away every idea about the Holy Spirit that’s not grounded firmly in the bible, and we discovered the “why”, as in why the Holy Spirit came. Now, as we look to part 2, we will seek to discover the “what”, as in what the Holy Spirit does in the lives of all those who sincerely believe in Jesus.
