This Sunday our focus was on finding true meaning and restoration in spiritual practices, rather than just going through religious motions out of guilt or obligation. Drawing from Gospel stories, it argues that spiritual rhythms like Sabbath rest are meant to rejuvenate us and help us experience the Hebrew concept of "tov" - God's desire for our wholeness and vitality. Despite our struggles, God still sees the inherent goodness in our lives.
