Storied Church

This Sunday we talked about the events of these past few weeks involving the murder of children and adults with legally purchased Assault Rifles. We talked about our sense of hopelessness that things would change. In the midst of this hopelessness, we recognize that God still has called us to be about the work of restoration and wholeness even when the path seems bleak. We ended with a prayer to carry with us this week. Make us worthy, Lord, to serve our brothers and sisters throughout the world, who live and die in poverty and pain. Give them today, through our hands, their daily bread and through our understanding love, give peace and joy. Amen
