Summary: Philippi prided itself on being a Roman colony, offering the honor and privilege of Roman citizenship. Paul reminds the congregation that they should look to Christ, not Caesar, for their model of behavior, since their primary allegiance is to God and his kingdom. 1. Are We Consistent In Our Walk? (v 27)

• Why?… Because The World Is Watching.
  

2. Do We Serve With A Cooperative Spirit? (v 27)

• Why?… Because We Are On The Same Team.
  

3. Do We Display A Faith That Is Courageous? (v 28)

• Why?…  Because We Have Nothing To Fear.   
  

4. Are Our Convictions Firm?  (vv 29-30)

• Why?…  Because The Joy Of Knowing                  Jesus Is Worth Enduring Whatever We Might Face.
