Our Sending God

In our Gospel text, Luke 10:1-20, Jesus sent out seventy-two "others" to the places that He Himself was about to go. Those sent were to proclaim peace and announce that the Kingdom of God had come near. God has always sent people to people. That's how He chooses to work. Today, God sends people who have His peace to proclaim that peace.
