Ask, Seek, Knock

Jesus invites us to ask, seek, and knock in our Gospel lesson from Luke 11:1-13. Our asking, seeking, and knocking opens our eyes to the reality of our relationship with our Heavenly Father. We ask because we have needs, and our Heavenly Father knows how to give good gifts to His children. Adopted into God's family by baptism, we have the privilege to bring our prayers to our Heavenly Father in the confidence of knowing that He knows us, hears us, and loves us.
