The Penetant Thief On The Cross And Modern Theology

Luk 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
Luk 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
Luk 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
Luk 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

No Baptism

He Couldn't Even Bend His Knees To Say A Sinner's Prayer
Among Everything Else He Was A Sinner.

Jesus didn't take away his pain, heal his body, or smite the ones that mocked Him. Yet it was a thief that walked into heaven that same hour as Jesus simply by believing.
He had nothing to offer but his belief that Jesus was who He said He was.
No shiny lights, no skinn jeans or crafty words, No fog machines, donuts or coffee in the entrance,
Just a naked man on a cross unable to even fold his hands to pray.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
