SALVATION
HEBREWS 2:3

TEXT VERSE:
Heb 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Heb 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Heb 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

The purpose of this series is to help the new Christian as well as the older Christian Bible student to rejoice in "so great a salvation"

THE ACTIVATION SANCTIFCATION

We conclude our series with the activation of our salvation through sanctification. Sanctification is God's Deliverence of a person from the power of sin.
The meaning of sanctification means to dedicate, to make holy, to separate and to set apart. To sanctify is to set apart something or someone for God from it's common ordinary use.

The primary purpose of our personal sanctification is to make us holy for the glory of God
Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The same power of God that draws the believer to God separates him from the effect of sin.
1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
The Method Of Sanctification-
Divinely
1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Personally
2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Beautifully
1Pe 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Progressively
Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Lovingly
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Redemptively
Heb 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Purposely
2Th 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
