Psalms 37:1-11 Text v.1,2 Psalms 37:1-2 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

David here is writing to comfort God’s people, to assure us of God’s righteousness, and to teach us that we can trust the LORD. Everything the LORD promises us will come to pass in His time. Until it does, we should continue to live righteously, not worry about the wicked, and rest in the confidence that the LORD will do what is right.
