1. The HEART Matters.

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

 

OUR HEART WILL ULTIMATELY KEEP US ON COURSE OR TAKE US OFF COURSE.

 

 

2. ENDURANCE Matters.

 

Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

 

THE RACE ISNT GIVEN TO THE SWIFT OR THE STRONG BUT TO THE ONE ENDURES TO THE END.

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

 

 

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PIECES YOU DIDN’T GET AND START PRAISING HIM THAT YOU’RE HIS MASTERPIECE.

 

How do we endure such opposition?

 

Look to Jesus.

 

JESUS ENDURED THE CROSS SO WE COULD ENDURE THE RACE.

 

Hebrews 12:3 (NIV)

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

 

 

AT THE END:

I FOUGHT, I RAN AND I KEPT

 

AND TO HEAR HIM SAY

WELL DONE
