2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (CSB) For although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, 4 since the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments 5 and every proud thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ.

 

 

·      What we allow to take ROOT will eventually take up RESIDENCE.

 

 

THINK ABOUT YOUR THOUGHTS

 

1.  Take INVENTORY of our thoughts.

 

2.  STOP thoughts before they become STRONGHOLDS.

 

3.  Realize not all thoughts are EQUAL.

4.  ARREST the wrong thoughts and REPLACE them with the right ones.

 

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and EVERY lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take EVERY thought captive to obey Christ,

Jeremiah 12:3 Yet you know me, Lord; you see me and test my thoughts about you.
 Drag them off like sheep to be butchered!
 Set them apart for the day of slaughter!

 

 

Philippians 4:7-8 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
