1.Passion Will Give You A Strong Excitement About God and For God Unlike Others.
Acts 6:5
And what they said pleased the whole gathering, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit........
Acts 7:51 “You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you.
Acts 7:54-58
Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him. But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. And he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together at him. Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul.
Acts 7:59-60
And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
2. PASSION WILL CAUSE YOU TO FORGIVE UNLIKE OTHERS
Galatians 3:2 / Romans 5:5
Jeremiah 9:1
Oh that my head were waters,
and my eyes a fountain of tears,
that I might weep day and night
for the slain of the daughter of my people!
(MY PEOPLE)
Lamentations 3:48-50
my eyes flow with rivers of tears
because of the destruction of the daughter of my people. “My eyes will flow without ceasing, without respite, until the Lord from heaven
looks down and sees;
3. PASSION WILL CAUSE YOU TO Pray UNLIKE OTHERS.
Romans 9:1-3
I am speaking the truth in Christ—I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit— that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.
4. PASSION WILL CAUSE YOU TO Care MORE ABOUT OTHERS THAN YOU CARE FOR YOURSELF.
Romans 10:1
Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.
Philippians 3:10
that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
1 Kings 18:41
And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink, for there is a sound of the rushing of rain.”.
