Psalm 92:12-15
The Righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon: planted in
the House of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old
age, they will stay fresh and green proclaiming “The Lord is upright ; he is my Rock, and there is
no wickedness in him”
4 stages in your journey.
1. Knowing God.
Ephesians 1:18
Paul says this.
I pray that the eyes of your heart will be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to
which he has called you,
2. Finding Freedom.
James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other, and pray for each other, so that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and affective.
3. Finding purpose.
1 Corinthians 12:12-20
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with
Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by [c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or
Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not
made up of one part but of many.
15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it
would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say,
“Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop
being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of
hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in
fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to
be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts,
but one body.
4. Go make a difference.
John 4:28-30
Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come,
see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” 30 They came out of
the town and made their way toward him.
