MASTERPEACE

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

  1. Jesus is the distributor of PEACE.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

            1.    THOUGHTS

            2.    CONVERSATION

            3.    DECISIONS

            4.    ACTIONS

            5.    LIFE

    B.    The more PEACE I will experience.

  1.  Peace does not come from feeling GOOD about everything.

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

  1. We must allow the SPIRIT of God to lead our lives.

    A.    Some lack peace because they are RUNNING from God.

    B.    Lesson: Peace doesn’t come from running from PROBLEMS but from BEING IN His will.

IV.    Allow the PEACE of God to LEAD you.

Colossians 3:15 (NIV) Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

    A.    One of the major ways we HEAR FROM GOD is through peace.

    B.    Allow God’s peace to be the UMPIRE of your life.

    C.    You know how it goes…

            1.    “I know I shouldn’t DO this, but…”

            2.    “I know I shouldn’t BUY this, but …”

            3.    “I know I shouldn’t SAY this, but…”

            4.    “I know I SHOULD DO this, but…”

John 14:27 (NIV) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Peace comes with the PURSUIT of God.

1 Peter 3:10-11 (NIV) For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. 11He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.
