What does it mean to follow Jesus?
So much today is based on personal convenience rather than real conviction.
Mark 8:27-38
Jesus and his disciples went on to the village around Caesarea Philippi.
On the way he asked them, “who do people say I am?” They replied, “some say John the
Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, one of the prophets.”
“But what about you?” He asked. “Who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the
Christ.”
Who do you say that Jesus is?
But whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.
Luke 9:23
“if anyone would come after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross DAILY and follow me.”
Wherever you find yourself on the following scale… MOVE CLOSER TO JESUS.
IF YOU LOSE YOUR LIFE FOR HIM YOU WILL FIND IT IN HIM.
