HOW TO GET THROUGH

WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH

2 Cor 4:7-10 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

1.  Paul realized God was his source

(vs. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us)

2.  Paul refused to let difficulties on the outside get to him on the inside

(vs. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;)

3.  Paul continued even when he didn’t have all the answers.

(Vs. 8 …perplexed, but not in despair;)

4.  Paul knew God was with him.

(vs. 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.)

5.  Paul did not allow the problems of today determine his future.

(vs. 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.)
