The assembling of the disciples....
Jesus surrounded Himself with followers
Jesus also sorrounded himself with businessmen.
Jesus brought the supernatural; His disciples brought the fish,protection, etc..
The day of Pentecost...
The power comes from unity not jealousy.
Acts 2:1 (NKJV): 2 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Acts 2:14–16 (NKJV): 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
Silver and Gold I have none...
Acts 3:4–6 (NKJV): 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
We have that same Holy Spirit!
