The Uncertainty of Tomorrow

Series: Devotions

All of us enjoy making plans. With great detail we plan weddings, surprise parties or family vacations. We save our money in anticipation of buying things. Sometimes our plans are as simple as saying “tomorrow I am going to cut grass.” But then tomorrow comes. Maybe sickness, or death will take control of your calendar. Perhaps a busted appliance will empty out your bank account or maybe pouring rain will fall on your overgrown lawn. And then all you can do is shake your head and acknowledge that you never know what tomorrow may hold.
