It occurs to me that every four years Americans place their hope in a different kind of superman. It is called a presidential election. We hope for truth, justice and the American way, but we will only be disappointed when the new president does not save the day. So put your hope in Jesus. He is the only One who deserves our absolute trust. He is all powerful and all knowing. He is the embodiment of Truth, Justice and Righteousness. He has defeated doomsday and no kryptonite formed against Him can prosper. He is the Maker of all things and in Him all things are held together. He is the King of Kings and at His feet all nations and all presidents will bow.
