Mary Magdalene, who do you say I am? Text: Matthew 28:1-10
Mary Magdalene never forgot, never got over, never lost interest in Jesus
Who do you say He is after your initial encounter, after years of being in church?
All four Gospels mention her by name - Mary Magdalene
Mark 16:9 - He appeared first to her
Luke 8:1-3 - She is set fee by Him Then she followed Him for the rest of her life
Matthew 28:8-9 “Chairete” - Greek word - “Howdy and good morning ladies!” “What’s up ladies?”
“Prosekynesan” - Greek word meaning worshipped, knelt before
Today our kids stop, drop, roll We need to stop, kneel, worship!
Matthew 28:10 - My Brothers
Mary Magdalene - faithful, solid as a rock, iron clad follower of Jesus!
I Want To Be - faithful, solid as a rock, and an iron clad follower of Jesus, too!
STOP - KNEEL - WORSHIP
