THE CHALLENGE - I think too highly of MYSELF and not nearly high enough of JESUS

• Jesus is the Christ, the MESSIAH sent directly from God.

Matthew 16:16 ... You are the Christ, the Son of the living God

• We are just CRACKED POTS carrying the life giving message of God

DIE TO SELF

• Dying to self is not a PUNISHMENT, it is a NECESSITY

Philippians 3:8 ... Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

LIVE IN CHRIST

• This choice means that a LINE has been drawn and a SIDE has been chosen

1st Samuel 17:45 ... Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

GOD DOESN'T JUST SAFE US FROM SOMETHING ... HE SAVES US TO SOMETHING

Romans 6:3-4 ... Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were buried therefore with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
