The disciple Peter was known for his impulsive, fleshly behavior. He loved Christ, but sought to do things his way, ending with him denying Christ and failing. However, we read of Peter later on as a force in the early church, preaching the first sermon and guiding the early church. What was it that transformed Peter from a failure to follower?
