Episode Notes

Revitalizing your relationship with God, your passionate
following of Jesus, through QUIET STILLNESS.
“When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too.
And as He was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended
on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven:
‘You are My Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased.’” Luke 3:21-22

“Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan
and was led by the Spirit in the desert…” Luke 4:1
STILLNESS and SILENCE produce surprising STRENGTH!
“Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit,
and news about Him spread through the whole countryside.” Luke 4:14
It can’t just be a ONE-TIME DEAL…
“Yet the news about Him spread all the more, so that crowds of people
came to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.
But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Luke 5:15-16
Don’t SKIP WHEN AND WHERE GOD WILL EQUIP!
“Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to Him those He wanted, and they came
to Him. He appointed twelve that they might be with Him and that He might send
them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.” Mark 3:13-15
“The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to Him all they had done
and taught. Then, because so many people were coming and going
that they did not even have a chance to eat, He said to them,
“Come with Me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.” Mark 6:30-32
Don’t FILL THE STILL! Dare to Diminish the Distractions.
“I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.
But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother;

like a weaned child I am content.” Psalm 131:1-2
“I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from Him.” Psalm 62:1
“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
Elihu to Job: “Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.” Job 37:14
“The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
