The Kingdom of Already but not Yet

The Kingdom of Already but not Yet

God has a plan for His kingdom, and Jesus came to restore what had been lost in the fall. However, Jesus did not come in the straight forward way that the Jewish theologians expected. God gave the prophecy of Isaiah 9 at one setting, but the various parts were not fulfilled at the same time. Parts were fulfilled prior to the coming of Jesus, parts were fulfilled with the first coming, and the rest will be fulfilled at His second coming. This demonstrates how God keeps His promises but He keeps them in His timing and not ours.
