Hope in Difficult Times
Dictionary.com defines hope as: “the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.” As we have struggled through the pandemic and racial riots, we want life to return to what it was like before these problems. We hope for life to return to something more comfortable. We may hope for the better in an earthly way, but what is hope in the spiritual realm? The NIV translation uses the word “hope” 166 times. In this series, we will look at ten different stories of characters who had hope in difficult times. They can act as models for us as we journey on our faith walk.
