The Promised Land

Is it possible that each one of us who is born of God has a destiny in God; a place to reach or a call to fulfill? This mission or destiny given is itself a work, even a promise that God desires to finish in us. There is for us, as it was for the recently freed Israelites, a journey to complete; often through, what seems like, a wilderness. How do we make it through? How do we not give up? There are lessons to learn from those who've come before us. The promise shown to us by God is one we can obtain, dwell in, and teach other to do the same.
