Quieting a Noisy Soul

Quieting a Noisy Soul is a curriculum written by Dr. Jim Berg. Dr. Berg's material was taught to Keystone Bible Church by John Tracy. Each session had a handout that was distributed to the attendees. Sounds of guilt, anxiety, anger, despair, addictions, and even entertainment can generate overwhelming noise in our souls. The quiet rest and joy promised by the Lord Jesus can seem illusive, and almost impossible. Yet His words still beckon to us: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
