Our series concludes today with part 4, Living a Spirit-Filled Life.

A common question (and one that occurs often) in Christianity today is “Are the gifts of the Holy Spirit for today”?

Another question that usually follows is “What are the gifts of the Holy Spirit?”

On Sunday, February 23 in part 3 in our series on The Holy Spirit, we will look at the gifts (Charisma) of the Spirit and answer both of these questions through the only source that has credibility, the bible.

Holy Spirit…….

These words bring confusion to many believers.

Confusion exists because the multitudes of different teachings about the Holy Spirit have caused division in churches, denominations, and even seminaries for far too long. There are too many competing voices, all claiming to be true.

Friends, God does not wish for any of us to be confused!

Last week, we determined to throw away every idea about the Holy Spirit that’s not grounded firmly in the bible, and we discovered the “why”, as in why the Holy Spirit came.

Now, as we look to part 2, we will seek to discover the “what”, as in what the Holy Spirit does in the lives of all those who sincerely believe in Jesus.

What is the Holy Spirit & just how important is the Holy Spirit in the lives of Christian believers?

This week we come to the last message in our Grow Series.

We’ve looked at the G which stands for “Grow Together”, the R which stands for “Revive”, the O which stands for “Ownership”, and now we come to the final letter in Grow, the W which stands for “What is Worship”?

How would you define worship?

Many people define worship as the few moments we gather on Sunday while singing songs.

Others define worship as the entire time spent at a church. (As in, “Let’s go to worship”.)

Would you be surprised to learn that neither of these fit the entirety of what worship actually is?

Learning to grow in God can be hard, especially if we think growing has anything to do with us becoming "better people".

If our identity remains, we are not growing.
