Luke describes how Jesus came down from the mountain with his new twelve apostles and disciples. Luke describes how Jesus stood on a level place and leveled with them on the quality of Kingdom life. Jesus had been teaching and healing from the very beginning of his ministry. That is why the crowds were there. That is why they followed him around. Jesus had come down to where the people were.
