This message was in honor of one of the men I considered to be a Spiritual Father to the Body of Christ and certainly one who impacted my life and Ministry. This text (Philippians 2)was where he preached from the last time he Ministered at ICC. That morning the message turned the heart of a member who was planning on quitting the Church over a rumor... As God would have it, Bishop Thornton was late arriving to the service that morning, so there was no chance for any interaction before the service started. Following the service the Member who had fully intended on that Sunday being his last at ICC, shook my hand and said "I'll see ya next Sunday"... Praise the Lord Jesus for his excellent care of the Church!!!
