Joy and the experience of joy have very little to do with what is around us, or what we surround ourselves with. In face, joy is very difficult for us to find on our own; because joy is a gift from God. It is up to us to receive and choose joy. Joy is often found through giving - through being there for one another. As Christ has taught us: We will never find joy in living for ourselves first and others second. During this time of Advent, my we all find peace, happiness, and Joy through being there for others.
