The Word of God Transforms us LISTEN ON MIXLR @ https://gbcsl.mixlr.com WATCH US ON YOU TUBE LIVE @ http://www.youtube.com/gracechurch-slus/live Psalm 1 : 1-6 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither, whatever they do prospers. 4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. Two men, two paths Two very different destinations! The blessed path The path of the wicked How we can be transformed by God’s Word by taking the right path Steps on the way to the path of prosperity and blessing! 1 Have discernment! Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2. Discipline! You must be committed to giving God and the Word, as we shall see in a moment, time and energy and focus 3. Meditation “In His law he meditates day and night.” The path of the wicked They are like chaff that the wind blows away. The wicked will not stand in the judgment, If you want to enjoy the path of the righteous, how do you do that?
