Mark 10:35 “And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came up to Him and said to Him, ‘Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of You.’
•There are several lessons
1. The entire Trinity is involved in
our salvation.
2. Our own baptism identifies us with
the death, the burial and the resurrection of Jesus
1.Your
baptism does not save you.
2.And
they believed and they were baptized.
•III. Jesus died that the Father
might be as pleased with us as He was with Christ.
1.Jesus died that the Father might be
as pleased with us as He was with Jesus,
2.The resurrection is the Father
approving of Jesus as the sacrifice for those who believe in Him.
3. It’s the baptism of the cross that
saves those who believe.
