The Glory of Christ, The Failure of Men (Luke 9:51-56)

In this sermon we continue our journey through the Gospel of Luke as we examine Luke 9:51-56. This passage marks the beginning of what many have called the "Travel Narrative," that portion that deals with the journey of Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem. Much of the material in this section is unique to the Gospel of Luke, and will prove to be a blessing. The verses that we deal with in this sermon show us a great contrast between the glory of Christ and the failure of men.
