When God said let us make man in our image according to our likeness, Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. God handed his authority as God over the earth to this man Adam . This man now had the power to speak , words that completely changed things in the earth just as God himself could do, because God handed this kind of authority over to Adam . That's what let them have dominion means ! So when Adam disobeyed and ate from the tree of good and evil ,he handed all of the dominion that God had given him ( over ) to Satan so now Satan stole the right to introduce sickness, death , hate , stealing , killing and destroying to this planet. Read John 10:10 . join me in this study and gain a deeper understanding of how one man could have so much power to sell us out . But Jesus Christ on the other hand came as the 2nd Adam providing a path back to God and back into the family of God .
